The Children’s Learning Center inspires to improve the lives and safety of children not only within our center, but in the community.  It is for this reason that The Children’s Learning Center will provide adult learning sessions and certifications. These classes and courses are designed to not only enhance knowledge within our community but to improve the lives of children. Initial course offerings will be available  based on initial interest from our families and will include:

  • Infant, toddler and adult CPR classes for parents (sanctioned by the American Red Cross).
  • First Aid classes for parents (sanctioned by the American Red Cross).

Mommy-n-Me

Mommy-n-Me classes will be held three times a week.  The Children’s Learning Center will be teaming up with other experienced professionals in the area to provide music, gym and art classes.  Parents may sign up for all three classes or choose those that best meet the interests of their child.

Please call for more detailed information.

Drop in Care

Drop In care will be offered twice weekly for parents who need just a few hours of care for their child.  These parents can be confident that their children will be cared for in a loving environment by experienced caregivers.  The children will be offered age appropriate activities to help promote all areas of development, but focus mainly on social development, since many of these children aren’t around other child in their age group as often as a child in full day child care.

After Hour Care / Fun Friday

Once a month children will be invited to attend Fun Fridays between the hours of 6:00pm and 10:00pm . Finding time to communicate with a spouse, see a movie, shop or just relax, is difficult.  Finding a qualified and affordable “babysitter” that you and your child feel comfortable with can also be difficult.  This is why The Children’s Learning Center wants to support the family by offering a Parents Night Out, which is made appealing to children by calling it “Fun Friday”.  Exciting age appropriate activities and dinner will be provided for the children. Parents can be confident that their child is being cared for by experienced child care providers in a safe and nurturing environment, while enjoying a  night out.
